ABOUT
One of the frequent questions I am asked as an interior designer is, what is my style? My reply is straight forward - my style is not important - I am far more interested in creating a style that is right for each individual client & for the space where they live or work.

Of course, there are some signatures that run through my work - always carefully curated but never pretentious, the use of a few key statement pieces: a fabulous armchair in jewel-coloured velvet, a funky chaise longue, a dramatically elegant cabinet. I dislike clutter, preferring a less is more approach, but not necessarily minimalist. If pressed to describe my work, I suppose I would describe it as "pared back eclecticism with a preference for a mid-century vibe"!

I believe that interior design is a relationship between 3 critical elements: the client, the designer & the space itself. Spaces find a way of communicating with us; as a designer, I know how important it is to how to listen to spaces & to respect their history & personality. I also know how important it is to coax clients sufficiently out of their design preconception boxes to show them that the design process is - & should be - exciting, liberating & a wonderful journey of discovery.
