What began
as a simple request to make the living room of this apartment more comfortable & personal - a few cushions, some decor items - soon became a total redesign of the entire apartment.

Presentation of 2 design concepts; the first to satisfy the client's brief to introduce some homely elements to the apartment; the second for a more comprehensive update, & which the client selected.
- Repositioning & reworking of existing bookshelf units, from the main feature wall to an adjacent wall & refitted around a door. This created a more usable, flexible & friendly living space.
- Selection of paint colours for entire apartment; painting.
- Custom made Roman blinds for living room & bedroom.
- Sourcing & purchase of major furniture pieces & decor items - sofa, chair, rug, light fittings, cabinet, cushions, ceramics, plants.
- Refurbishment of small dark bathroom - removal of outdated folding shower screen, replaced by a slimline glass panel, new bathroom accessories - to create a lighter, larger feeling & calm space.
- Re-upholstery of bed headboard in a sophisticated marl/tweed fabric.
- Placement & hanging of the owner's collection of original paintings & vintage Eastern European posters.
- Additional works: renovation & damp proofing of a separate storage unit; design & construction of balcony: new decking, seating with built-in storage, plant holders & sun umbrellas.
